Luca’s work examines and questions the influence and authority of abstract and material structures (grids, borders, newspapers) we find within culture and society. He takes these structures as a foundational point then reorganizes and reimagines them through human intervention (cut, scratch, burn, etc) as a form of resistance. Through his practice, Luca seeks to spark a conversation about how structures define us, and how we can resist being defined.
